Melt into School
[C: 01-07-2011 U: V2.7 T:P R:1]

The ice holds on steady, as the number of days to school, shrink.
The landscape is cold, with people being greeted by
the windy bear biting their head off as they leave the warm house.

Outside, frozen birds, fly in the sky, leaving frozen ice feces on the buildings.
They melt away as the sun raises and return during the night.

The days left before school start are numbered.
Its only a matter of time
until the children have to fight in this primitive warfare.
This is not a call to duty but rather a call for education.

Time melts away, as the ice too disappears.
Day by day, the snow disappears until we are greeted by spring.

I wonder what will thaw first, the school or the road to it.
